Hello everyone!!!
Hola a todos!!!
This week we worked a lot on keeping up with the maintenance of the garden. Weeding and watering are a never-ending job. Jamie constructed a beautiful arbor which directs rain water away from the building and towards the garden. This was a project that Jamie took initiative of, using materials that he so kindly donated. It would be great to organize a fundraiser for the garden to have funds for fun and practical things. One conversation that has continued to surface is that of rain barrels. We are looking into working with another garden, who has successfully constructed their own, to get ourselves a few.
La semana pasada trabajabamos mucho a matener el jardin. Siempre podemos encontrar mas malas hierbas. Y todos sigieron regrando la tierra, tambien. Jamie contruyo una cenador para poner la direccion de la agua lejos del edificio y por el jardin. Este proyecto fue algo de que Jamie planificado solo con sus manos y sus materiales. Seria buenisimo si podremos tener una fiesta para recaudar fondos para hacer algunas cosas divertido y practical en el jardin. Una conversación que sigue es que estamos buscando los barriles de lluvia. Vamos a hablar mas con un otro jardin en que ya los contruyeron.
Tomorrow we will have our weekly garden meeting. Silvia is bringing quesadillas con flores. This is a tortilla filled with cheese and squash flowers. Sounds very tasty and awesome! Feel free to bring friends to share in on the fun. It is always nice to have a helping hand.
Mañana tenemos nuestro semanalmente cita del jardin. Silvia va a cocinar y traer quesadillas con flores para compartir con todos. Me parece delicioso. Si queres, traiga tus amigos. Siempre es mejor a tener mas manos del apoyo.
